It is an open-ended scheme which aims to provide investors the opportunities for long term growth in capital as well as liquidity. It has a basket of equity stocks spanning the entire market capitalization spectrum and in debt and money market instruments.
The fund follows a bottom up approach for stock picking and selects companies across different lifestyles.
The fund invests 65% of their assets in equity and rest 35% across the different market capitalization.
They mainly include large cap shares in between 50 to 90%; midcap in between 10 to 40% and small cap is less than 10% of the portfolio.
) Inception/Launch Date:
It was launched in September 2005.
ii) Risk Level:
The fund has high exposure of the fund to potentially high-risk equity investment, the risk level of the SBI Magnum Multicap Fund is high.
The fund house allows the units to be redeemed only after the expiry of the lock-in-period from the date of allotment of units. It will be done by a repurchase/buyback by the fund house. Usually, the fund house dispatches the redemption request proceeds within 10 business days from the date of receipt of request.
iv) Fund Manager:
The fund is managed by Anup . He is associated with the fund house for more than one decade. Previously, he was associated with Tata Consultancy Service. He is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Lucknow.
v) Entry and Exit Load:
There is hardly any entry load associated with this fund. In case of exit load, there will be charged of approx. 0.10% before 30 days. But after the 30 days there will be no exit load.
