Fund Statistics & Information of HDFC Top 100 Fund

• Launch Date: Earlier this scheme was known as HDFC Top 200 Fund; it was launched in 1996, 11th October. Following SEBIs rationalization and categorization rules, the fund house changed its fundamental attributes just to focus on largecap stocks & renamed the scheme to HDFC Top 100 Fund. • Redemption: The fund house dispatches the proceedings of redemption within 3-4 working days from the dated redemption. • Risk Level: This scheme draws its underlying investments from stocks in ‘S&P BSE 100 Index’. Also, it seeks to invest in strong balance sheets by confining to the ‘S&P BSE 100 Index stocks’. The reason for doing this is to reduce risks whilst maintaining growth. • Fund Manager: Currently, the scheme is being managed by Mr. Prashant Jain since 2002 January. Before this, he has worked with SBI mutual Fund and Zurich AMC.
